ffriend John: West I de(sire) tho to inform & request Coll. Browne Judg of the Court of Somerset
County and the rest of the Justices now Sitting --
That forasmuch as my predecessour. George: Johnson did grant that Bridge might be made over
the manie River upon the accompt and for the ease of the inhabitants of Animessex neck yt
had business with Edmund Beauchamp Clerke of this County, relating to the Court: he the said --
George Johnson having no occasion for Boat or Sloop to pass & repass up & downe the River but
now Since the Clerk Edmund Beauchamp is Removed, and that there is no Such publick occasion
and that I have great occasion for a passage for my Sloop & Boat up and downe the River , doe
request that theremay be no more Bridge but that I may have the Benifitt of the River So
far as the Law provides - - - - - - - - Tho: Evernden
Animessex the 10th. of the
9th. mo. Called November
1691. The Petion being by sd West prsented to Court. the Court referrs it Grd Jury
& the grand Jury is for a Bridge as pr vive voce declared to Court


Presentments. Brought into Court this day by Grand Jury. vide ii9: their Names
And this Court Orders the Clerk to amend forms not altering Substance. --- ~ ~ ~

away 3 black bore piggs from of the Sows of mr ffr. Jenckins ye 25th - July Anno Dom. 1691. --
