10 In The ffear & Dread of Allmighty God Amen this ffoureteenth day of y Sixth month Called August in the year of our Lord 1689 I Wonney Oglanninn of Spittle feild in the County of Somr:Set and Province of Maryland being weake in body but of good and perfect memory thanks be to allmighty God doe make & ordaine this my last will & Testament in manner & forme following adnulling and making voyd all other Wills and Testaments by me formerly made and this only to be taken for my last will & testament And first of all I Calling to remembrance that all fflesh must dye and yeilld to death when it Shall please God to Call: I bequeath my Soule to almighty God my Maker beleeving through the Meritts of Jesus Christ Assuredly to be Save and to have full remission & forgivenes of all my Sins and that my Soule with my body Shall rise againe glorified at the generall day of resurrection with Joy and my body to be buried in Such - decent manner as my freinds Shall thinke meete ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ And now for the Setling of my temporall estate and Such goods Chattles and debts as it hath pleased God far above my desert to bestowe upon me I doe order give & dispose the Same in manner & form following that is to Say first I will that all those rights and Duties I owe in right or Conscience to any manner of person or persons be well & Justly Satisfied & the rest I dispose as ffolloweth ~ ~ ~ Item: I give unto my Eldest Sonn Wonney Ogammin to him & to his heires for ever all that plantacon with its rights & priviledges wherein I now dwell as also unto my Sonn Thomas & John & to theire heires for Ever by Equall devision all that foure hundred acres of land by me lately taken - up Called Gallaway ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ for y Educating & bring up of the other Two Sons And in Case my wife Shoulld dye before my three Sonns Come to age then my will & pleasure And desire is that John Trewitt may be an assistance to y Survivors of them for y Educating & bringing them up ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Item I will yt the Small Stock: vizt fower Cowes & five Calves & one yearling heifer remaine upon y Land Same plantacon and be a Joynt Stock amongst my wifes & her three Sonns Vizt: Wonney Thomas & John Oglammin ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Item I give unto my Loving wife Ellen Oglammin one browne horsse Called Button ~ ~ ~ ~ Item I give unto my Sonn Honney one gray horsse ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Item I give fifteene Sheepe unto my wife & my three Sonns as a meane Stock to goe amongst them only my will is that the next yearing time there be given out of the Same one Ewe & Lambe unto my daughter Ellen and one Ewe and Lambe unto my Daughter Elizabeth Item I will that when my Daughter Ann goeth to housekeeping her Mother Shall give her Two good Sowes with Pigg for breeders ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Item I give unto my Loving Wife all other moovables being in my house whatsoever for and towards the bringing up of my three Sonns whence I make at age as they Shall respective accomplish the age of twenty one years ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ In Wittnes here unto I have Set my hand ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ his ~ ~ & Seale the day & year above expressed Wonney Ooglammin (Seale) Thomas Lucass marke William ffoster This proved in Cort: pr 2 Evidences Jno: West dept: Clerke Cur County Somr:Set Maryland Sommersett County Ss William & Mary by the grace of God of England Scotland france & Ireland King & Queene defenders of the faith &c To Ellin Oglammin of Sommerset County greeting Whereas Wonney Oglammin of the Said County deceased; Wee doe therefore give and grant unto you the Said Ellin Oglammin full power and authority to administer all and Singular the goods Chattels and Creditors of the Said deceased and to demand Collect and Leavy and in Legal manner require and receive all and all manner of debt and debts due and oweing to the Said deceased and well & faithfully to dispose of the Same and out of the goods Chattels and Creditts of the Said deceased wch: have have may or Shall Come to yor: hands or possessions well & truly to pay the debts due by the Said deceased Soe far forth as the Same will thereunto extend and the Law will Charge you according to y true vallue of the Summe thereof You having first taken yor: oath well & truly to administer the Same and to make or Cause to be made A true & perfect Inventory of all & Singular y goods and Chattles and Creditts of the Said deceased which may have to Shall |
