and that a new section be and it is hereby added to the
Prince George's County Code (1943 Edition), being Article
17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
"Prince George's County", sub-title "Washington Suburban
Sanitary District", said new section to be known as Section
1430A, to follow immediately after Section 1430 of said
Article, and all to read as follows:

1189A (1430A). The Washington Suburban Sanitary
Commission may, in its discretion, at any time it deems it
expedient, discontinue the practice of constructing water
or sewer house connections under the provisions of Section
1189 (1430) of said Article, and may authorize such con-
nections to be made by a master plumber, registered in the
Washington Suburban Sanitary District, under the super-
vision of the Commission, provided all taps in installations
of the Commission shall be actually made by the Commission
at such charge for work performed, payable to the Com-
mission, as the Commission may deem reasonable; and pro-
vided further, the Commission may construct and make water
connections of two inches or larger and make the charge
therefor, which charge shall be at actual cost to the Com-
mission.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is here-
by declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety and
having been passed upon by yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly of Maryland, the same shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

(House Bill 30)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 3
of Article 80 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939
Edition), as amended: by Chapter 418 of the Acts of 1945,
title "Reporter and Codifier—State. "

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 3 of Article 80 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), as amended by Chapter 418 of the
Acts of 1945, title "Reporter and Codifier—State", be and the
same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
