CHAPTER 442.
AN ACT to amend the charter of the Weverton Manufacturing
Company, passed at December session,
eighteen hundred and thirty-four, chapter one hundred
and forty-four.

Division of
stock.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted
by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the capital stock of the Weverton
Manufacturing Company may be divided into shares of
ten dollars each, instead of shares of one hundred dollars,
as now required by the charter of said company.
|
Right to carry
on mining
operations.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted,
That the said company
shall have the right of carrying on mining operations
whenever the said company may deem it for their interest
so to do.
|
In force.
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted,
That this act shall be
in force from and after its acceptance by the stockholders
of said company; and the Legislature hereby reserves
the right to repeal, alter or amend this act at pleasure.

CHAPTER 443.
AN ACT to amend the act to Incorporate the Baltimore
City Domicil Society, passed December session,
eighteen hundred and forty-nine, chapter four hundred
and sixty-six, by extending to the Baltimore City
Domicil Society the benefits and privileges of the act
authorising the Incorporation of Homestead or Building
Associations in this State, passed January session,
eighteen hundred and fifty-two, chapter one hundred
and forty-eight.

Rights and
privileges.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted
by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Baltimore City Domicil Society,
a body corporate, created by an act of the General Assembly
of Maryland, passed December session, eighteen
hundred and forty-nine, chapter four hundred and sixty-six,
shall be, and is hereby declared entitled to all the
rights, privileges and benefits conferred by the General
Assembly of Maryland, by the act passed January
session, eighteen hundred and fifty-two, chapter one
