in preparing a code of the laws, and that said
commissioners tender an account to the comptroller as
soon as may be of their said expenses.
To render an
account.
     SEC. 5.  And be it enacted, That the said commissioners
be and they are hereby required to render an account
to the Comptroller, as soon as may be, of the
amount of the said sum of two thousand dollars, which
they shall expend for the printing as aforesaid.
In force.
     SEC. 6.  And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the time of its passage.

                           CHAPTER 422.

         AN ACT relating to non-resident Infants.
     Guardian
authorised to
take possession
of property.
     SECTION 1.  Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland,
That where an infant or infants is, or
are, or shall hereafter be entitled to any property or estate,
real, personal or mixed, or to any debts or choses
in action in this State, or due by, or recoverable from
any person or persons, corporation or corporations in this
State, or from any estate upon which letters testamentary
or of administration shall have been, or shall hereafter
be granted in this State, and such infant, if male,
is, or shall be under the age of twenty-one years, or, if
female, under the age of eighteen years, and not residing
in this State, or but in some other State or Territory
of the United States, or in the District of Columbia,
and having no guardian appointed in this State, but
having a guardian or guardians appointed in such other
State or Territory, or in the District of Columbia, duly
qualified according to the laws thereof, and who shall
there have given good and sufficient security for the
faithful performance of his or their trust as such, or in
words to that effect, then, and in such case the orphans'
court of the county or city in this State in which such
property, or any part thereof, of such infant or infants
may be situated, or where such debts or choses in action,
or any part thereof may be due or recoverable, either
wholly or in part, shall pass an order authorising and
empowering such non-resident guardian or guardians to
take into his or their possession such property, wherever
situated in this State, and to sue for and recover such
debts or choses in action from all persons or corporations
