consideration of his services in the said war.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted,
That the sum of forty-eight
dollars, being equal to the half pay of a private,
is hereby appropriated, and the treasurer upon the warrant
of the Comptroller is hereby directed to pay the
said sum of money to the said John Edward Ferel,
or his order, annually in quarterly payments, during
his life.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted,
That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 289.
AN ACT to appoint commissioners to run out and mark
the line between Election Districts numbers one and
four in Allegany county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted
by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That John Warnick, John Wilt and
William McCrobee, be, and they are hereby appointed
commissioners to run out and mark the line between
election districts numbers one and four in Allegany
county.

SEC. 2. And
be it enacted, That the said commissioners
shall be allowed one dollar per day, each, for
the time they may be engaged in running out and
marking said line, to be paid as other county charges
and levies are paid.
