to perform the duties required of them, faithfully
and honestly, and shall each receive for his services
seventy-five cents a day and his expenses; the commissioners
shall each be entitled to receive as a compensation
for their services, two dollars and their expenses,
for each and every day they are employed in and about
the said assignment of dower and partition; and the
surveyor two dollars and his expenses, for each and
every day he shall be employed in making survey under
the directions of the commissioners, and such further
sum for making the plats to be recorded in the orphans'
court, and in the office of the clerk of the circuit court
aforesaid, and for all other services to which he may be
called in the business, as the said orphans' court shall
determine to be right and proper; the clerk of the circuit
court aforesaid, shall receive such compensation for the
services he shall render in the premises, as is customary
for like or similar services under the laws of this State; all
costs and expenses properly incurred in procuring, effecting
and completing the said assignment of dower and partition,
made under this act and an act of the Legislature
of Delaware, passed at Dover, on or about the eighteenth
day of January, in the year eighteen hundred and fifty-three,
entitled, an act for the relief of the widow and
heirs of Jacob Raymond, deceased, except those hereinbefore
fixed and specified, and those provided for in this
act, shall be ascertained, taxed and allowed by the orphans'
court aforesaid, and the said court are hereby
authorised and required, to make such allowances for
all services fairly rendered, and all expenses fairly incurred,
in and about the said business as the said court
shall deem just, keeping in view the present rates of
allowance, for like or similar services under the intestate
laws of the State of Delaware; all the costs
and expenses of procuring, effecting and completing
the said assignment of dower and partition, to the true
intent and meaning of this act, and the said act of the
Legislature of the State of Delaware, shall be paid by
the said parties concerned, in the following proportions,
that is to say, the said Eliza B. Raymond, widow of the
said Jacob Raymond, deceased, shall pay one equal
third part of the said expenses, and the said three children
of the said deceased, shall each pay one equal third
part of the other two thirds part thereof; the charges and
expenses of procuring this act, and the said act of the
Legislature of the State of Delaware, in General Assembly
met, shall be deemed a part of the costs in the
case.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted,
That in laying off and
assigning to the said Eliza B. Raymond, her dower or
