MARYLAND, Sc.

At a session of the General Assembly of Maryland, begun and
     held at the City of Annapolis, on the first Wednesday of January,
     being the fifth day of said month, in the year of our
     Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty-three, and ended
     the thirty-first day of May of said year.


HIS EXCELLENCY

E. LOUIS LOWE, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR.

THE FOLLOWING LAWS WERE ENACTED, TO WIT:


                                   CHAPTER 1.

AN ACT to change the name of Albert Francis Dixon,
     of Prince George's county, to Albert Francis Jenkins.


Passed Jan.
27, 1853.

      Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this
act, the name of Albert Francis Dixon, of Prince
George's county, be, and the same is hereby changed
to Albert Francis Jenkins, and that it shall be lawful
for the said Albert Francis Dixon, at all times hereafter,
to be called and known by, and hold and use the
name of Albert Francis Jenkins, and by that name to
hold, receive, purchase, sell, convey, devise or receive
property, hereafter devised, and to sue and be sued,
plead and be impleaded in any court of law or equity.
Name changed.
