CHAPTER 182.
AN ACT to incorporate the Trustees of the Masonic
Hall
and Church in Bel-Air.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted
by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That A. Lingan Jarrett, William H.
Dallam, William S. Richardson and Charles Bond, be
and they are hereby incorporated in the name of the
trustees of the Masonic Hall and Church in Bel-Air,
in Harford county, and they and their successors forever,
are hereby authorised to take and hold the lot and
building thereon, in the town of Bel Air, in said county,
which was heretofore conveyed by the Justices of
the levy court of Harford county to John McKenney,
Israel D. Maulsby, James Pannell and Samuel Bradford.

Incorporated.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted,
That the said corporation
shall hold the said lot and building in trust for the
purposes of a Church and Masonic Hall, shall have
the full control of the same, may regulate the use
thereof, and apply the rents, issues and profits of the
same to the repair, preservation and improvement of
said property, and the said trustee, or survivors or survivor
of them, may fill any vacancy that may occur by
death, resignation or removal from the county of any
member of the corporation.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted,
That said trustees by
their corporate name aforesaid, may sue and be sued,
contract and make by-laws for their government and
action, take and convey property for the purposes aforesaid;
Provided, that at no time shall they hold
property yielding a greater annual revenue than three
hundred dollars.

effect from its passage.
