CHAPTER 180.
AN ACT to embrace within the limits of the Fifth Election
District of Howard County, the Village of Dorseysville,
in said County.

Declared to
be within fifth
election district.
|
Be it enacted by the General
Assembly of Maryland,
That the village of Dorseysville in Howard
county, and now owned by Michael G. Dorsey, be and
the same is hereby declared to be within the fifth election
district of Howard county, and the voters residing in
said village otherwise duly qualified, from and after the
passage of this act, shall be entitled to vote at all elections
in the said fifth election district and no other.

CHAPTER 181.
AN ACT relating to the enforcement of Judgments
rendered by District Courts, and recorded in the
offices of the Clerks of the Circuit Courts of this
State.

Lawful to
revive.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted
by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That in all judgments rendered by district
courts prior to the adoption of the new Constitution,
and recorded in the offices of the clerks of the county
courts or in the circuit courts of the several counties in
this State, prior to or since the adoption of the Constitution,
in case it may become necessary to renew the said
judgments, it shall and may be lawful for the plaintiff or
plaintiffs in said judgments, his or their executors, administrators
or assigns to revive the same, by issuing scire
facias out of the circuit court of the county in which
such judgments are recorded, in the same manner and
with the same effect as if such judgments had been rendered
in the circuit court.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted,
That this act shall take
effect from the passage thereof.
