deed or deeds, in fee simple to the purchaser or
purchasers thereof, the part or parts of said land to him,
her or them sold.
     Trustees to
pay over to
commissioners.
     SEC. 2.  And be it enacted, That the said trustees
shall pay over the money arising from said sale, as they
may receive the same from the purchase or purchasers
of said land, to the county commissioners of Dorchester
county, or order, to be by them applied to such county
purposes as they may direct.

     SEC. 3.  And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

                           CHAPTER 170.

AN ACT to alter and amend the charter of the Llangollen
     Mining Company, passed at the December session,
     eighteen hundred and forty-nine, chapter four
     hundred and twelve, so as to authorise the said company
     to increase its capital stock; also, to authorise
     said company to condemn the right of way, construct
     and keep in repair Rail Road or Rail Roads for the use
     of their mines.
     Authority to
increase capital
stock.
     SECTION 1.  Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland,
That a majority in interest of the stockholders
of the Llangollen Mining company, may from
time to time, or at any one time, pass an order or orders,
expressed in writing, increasing the capital stock of said
company to an amount not exceeding eight hundred
thousand dollars, and the shares of said company shall
be ten dollars each.
     Lawful to
construct road
to connect
with other
roads.


     Power to
agree with
owners of
lands which
may be wanted.
     SEC. 2.  And be it enacted, That it shall be lawful
for said company to locate and construct such rail road
or rail roads as may be necessary to connect therewith
the George's creel or Baltimore and Ohio rail road, or
Chesapeake and Ohio canal, or any lateral roads now
or hereafter to be constructed; and for this the president
and directors of said company or a majority of them,
may agree with the owner or owners of any land, earth,
quarry, timber, gravel, stone or other materials, or any
improvements which may be wanted for the construction
or repairs of said roads or any of their works, for
the purchase or use and occupation of the same, and if
