the certificate of the clerk of said court in which shall be stated
the number of days which such person attended as a juror and
the sum to which he is entitled; which certificate, the clerk of said
court is hereby required to issue accordingly. And in case there
should be no funds in the county treasury for the payment of
such demands, the certificate of such juror shall be receivable
by the collectors of taxes for county purposes, in payment of
taxes and dues to the county. |

CHAPTER 95.
A further additional supplement to the act entitled, An act to incorporate
the Westminster general meeting
house in Frederick county. |
Notice of
election—
proxies prohibited. |
SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland,
That the present trustees of the Westminster general meeting
house in Frederick county, are hereby authorised and required
to give ten days notice at two or more public places in said town
previous to the next election of trustees for said meeting house,
and a similar notice shall be given previous to each and every
election of trustees thereafter; and in no case shall any person
be entitled to vote at the election for said trustees by proxy. |

2. And be it enacted, That when any
stockholder shall call on
any trustee for a transcript of the proceedings of the said trustees,
or any matter relating to said Westminster general meeting
house, the same shall be given free of any charge to said
stockholder, under the same penalties and restrictions that are
imposed by the supplements to said act passed at December
session eighteen hundred and twenty four, any law to the contrary
notwithstanding. |

CHAPTER 96.
A Supplement to an act, entitled an act to incorporate a company to
make
a turnpike road from the contemplated bridge over the
river Susquehanna
at Conowingo creek to the Pennsylvania line. |
Preamble. |
WHEREAS, the act to which is a supplement passed
at December
session, eighteen hundred and sixteen, chapter two hundred
thirty five directs that the commissioners for taking the stock
shall open books by a limited time and that the work be commenced
by another certain time both of which times have expired,
and it appearing reasonable that a further time should be
given; Therefore, |

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland,
That the time for opening the books shall be extended to
the last day of October next, and the time for proceeding
to open the road to the first day of April eighteen hundred
and twenty nine, and the time for completing the road to |
