                                    RESOLUTIONS.

                                            No. 90.

     Resolved, That the treasurer of the Western Shore, pay to the
Rev. Mr. Raferty, or his order, the sum of one hundred dollars;
to the Rev. Mr. Smith, or his order, the sum of fifty dollars; and
to the Rev. Mr. Hall, the sum of fifty dollars, out of any unappropriated
money in the treasury, for their services as chaplains
during the present session.

     Resolved, That Joseph Isaac, Col. of the 24th regiment of Maryland
militia, be, and he is hereby released from the fine imposed
by a general court martial.

     Resolved, That the governor be requested to have purchased
ten copies of ' Strickland's Report on Canals, Rail Roads,' &c.
and distributed as follows:—
          One copy for the use of the executive,
          Two copies for the senate,
          Three copies for the house of delegates,
          One copy for the use of the board of public works,
     The residue to be at the disposal of the legislature.

                                            No. 93.

     Resolved, That the governor and council be, and they are hereby
authorised and empowered to cause the ceiling of the senate
chamber, and of the house of delegates, to be carefully examined
and if it is found necessary to have the same repaired and put
in a safe condition; and also, to have such repairs made to the
top of the dome of the state house, as may be found absolutely
necessary for it preservation; and to draw on the treasurer for
such sum or sums as may be necessary to carry this resolution
into effect.

     Resolved, That the treasurer of the Western Shore, be, and he
is hereby authorised and required to pay from time to time, to
the members of the board of public works, the personal expenses
incurred by them, in attending to their public duties; their accounts
being signed by the members respectively, and countersigned
by the governor.
