RESOLUTIONS.
No. 87.
Resolved, That the time for paying into the treasury,
the money
due this state by Samuel Bradford, collector of Anne Arundel
county, agreeably to the provisions of an act, entitled, an act
to provide a revenue for the support of the government of this
state, be, and the same is hereby extended to the first day of June
next, any law to the contrary notwithstanding.

School Fund
of Anne Arundel
county.

No. 88.
Resolved, That whenever the county of Anne Arundel
shall
be laid off into school districts according to the provisions of an
act, entitled an act to provide for the public instruction of youth
in primary schools throughout this state, the commissioners of
the school fund for said county, be, and they are hereby authorised
and required to divide the amount annually received from said
fund, into as many equal portions as there are school districts
in the county; And whenever said commissioners shall be satisfied
that a school house has been built in any of said school districts,
and that a sum of money equal to one of the said portions has
been raised in said district by voluntary contribution, or otherwise,
for the purpose of paying a school master for teaching
therein, they are hereby authorised and required, to pay over in
aid of such school, to such persons as are duly authorised by the
inhabitants of such district to receive the same, one of said portions
of school money.
Resolved, That such part of the said portions
of school money,
as are not claimed and paid under the foregoing resolution, in
any one year, shall be put into the common fund for the year ensuing,
and be divided and distributed together with the annual
amount received from the school fund, in the manner prescribed
by said resolution.

Resolved, That Joseph Harris, clerk of Saint
Mary's county
court, be allowed the further time of twelve months to complete
the records of the court required to be recorded under the act of
1817, chapter 119.
Resolved, That Thomas Murphy, clerk of Queen Anne's
county court, be allowed the further time of twelve months to
complete the records of the court, required to be recorded under
the act of 1817, chapter 119.
Resolved, That Otho H. Williams, clerk of Washington county
court, be, and he is hereby authorised to complete the records
of judgments, docket entries, and judicial proceedings, in Washington
county court, which should have been recorded by his
predecessor, Eli Williams, and the further time until the first of
January, 1828, is hereby allowed and extended to him to complete
the same.
