                            LAWS OF MARYLAND.

    Sec. 1.  Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, 
That John Wroth of Kent county, be, and he is hereby authorised
and empowered to divide a lot or parcel of wood land lying
and being in Kent county, devised by Benjamin B. Wroth to his
infant children Editha G. Wroth, Benjamin B. Wroth and William
G. Wroth, according the terms and provisions of the last
will and testament of Benjamin B. Wroth, late of Kent county,
deceased, and to mark and bound the same when so divided.

    2.  And be it enacted, That the said John Wroth shall return
a plat of the said lot or parcel of woodland, when so divided, to
the office of the register of wills for Kent county, specifying the
number of acres in each portion so laid off; and the justices of
the orphan's court of said county on such return being made
shall cause the guardians of said minors to appear before them,
and if in the opinion of said court, such division be fair and
equitable, and in accordance with the will of the testator, and
the same be approved by the guardians of said minors, the same
shall be valid in law, and shall be esteemed and considered a
permanent division of said parcel of woodland amongst said minors.

                                            CHAPTER 218.

An additional supplement to the act entitled, an act for the better regulation
                            of the militia of the city of Baltimore.

    Sec. 1.  Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, 
That the First Light Brigade of Maryland Volunteers, may be
and they are hereby authorised to raise a regiment of light artillery
to be attached to, and form a part of said brigade.
    Regiment of

    2.  And be it enacted, That all the provisions of the original
acts and supplements, to which this act is an additional supplement,
not inconsistent with the provisions of this act shall apply
to and regulate the said regiment in the same manner, and to the
same extent as they do the other regiments composing said light
brigade:  Provided always, That nothing contained in this act
shall be construed to interfere with the rights or privileges of
any other regiment of artillery, already organised, or to deprive
any such regiment of any arms, which it is now entitled to hold
under the existing laws.
