the General Assembly adjourns to day it stands ad-
journed to Monday, Jan. 18th, at 7:30 p. m. and con-
cur therein.

Mr Brewington submitted the following message:
BY THE SENATE,
January 14th, 1904.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:
We respectfully propose, with the concurrence of
your Honorable Body, that the Senate and the House
of Delegates appoint a committee of five, two on the
part of the Senate and three on the part of the House
to wait on the Hon Murray Vandiver, the Treasurer-
elect, and inform him of his election.
We have appointed on the pait of the Seriate.
