The Senate met at 11.45 a m.
Piayer by the Rev. Father Heenan.
Present at the roll call the following Senators:
Messrs. President, Applegarth, Belts, Biddison,
Brewington, Dashiell, Devilbiss, Dixon, Foxwell,
Gadd, Gill, Gorman, Greenwell, Giiffith, Kirwan,
Lewis, McCullough, Moore, Palmer, Perkins, Robin-
son, Roe, Wilson, Young—24.
The Journal of Wednesday, January 13th, 1904,
was read and approved.
Mr. Moore moved,
Thai rule of 1902 be adopted as rules of this session
until report of Committee on Rules.
Said motion was adopted.

ORDERS
Mr. McCullough offered the following order:
Ordered, That Senators Gray and Beasman be ex-
cused from attendance at this session.
Which was adopted.
On motion of Mr. Brewington, it was
Ordered, That Rev. Father Kautz, Rev. Mr. Mun-
ford and Rev. Mr. Mills, be and they are hereby ap-
pointed Chaplains of the Senate, and that they divide
the services in such manner as shall be agreed upon
by themselves, the pay of one chaplain at the per diem
of $5.00 per day, to be equally divided between, them.
