Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Ses-
sion, 1898, and 367 of the Acts of the General As-
sembly of Maryland, passed at the January Session,
1902, entitled 'An Act to create and sustain by taxa-
tion Public Libraries and Reading Rooms,' chapter 247
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland,
passed at the January Session, 1902, entitled 'An Act
to promote the establishment and efficiency of Free
Public Libraries and Public School Libraries in the
State of Maryland, and section 54 of Article 27 of the
Code of Public General Laws, title 'Crimes and Pun-
ishment.' "

A bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact sec-
tions 33, 211, 212, 213, 214. 215 and 216, of Article 1 of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title 'Allegany
County,' sub title ''County Commissioners and Roads,'
and to re-enact then same with amendments, and add
certain additional, sections to said Article 1, sub-title
'Roads,' and to provide for a road, directory and a
road engineer in Allegany county, and to place all the
public roads in said Allegany county under the con-
trol of the road directory, to be created by this Act.' "
