INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.
By Mr. Biddison,
A bill entitled "An Act to authorize the clerk of the
Circuit Court for Baltimore county, to transcribe cer-
tain land indexes, mortgage indexes, and equity in-
dexes, and to procure cases of modern plan and style
for the purpose of filing papers; insolvent papers and
miscellaneous papers in his office; and further to make
such necessary changes in the fixtures of said office as
may be approved by the judges of the Circuit Court
for said county, and to provide for the payment
thereof."
Which was read the first time and referred to
Messrs. Biddison, Beasman and Devilbiss.
By Mr. Gadd,
A bill entitled "An Act to pay the claim of H. B.
Taylor."
Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Finance, (to be appointed).
By Mr. Dashiell,
A bill entitled "An Act to provide for the appoint-
ment of a Notary Public to reside at Maiion station,
in the Third Election District of Somerset county,
Maryland."
Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on the Judiciary (hereafter to be ap-
pointed.)
Also,
A bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 1 to 28,
inclusive, Article 20, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title 'Somerset County,' sub-title 'Alms House,'
and all amendments thereto, and to re-enact the same.
with amendments.' "
