State to be exempt from suits at the instance of its
citizens be and the same is hereby waived as far as
the claim of the said Mary E. Metz,is involved, and
also the statute of limitations is hereby waived as to
the said claim."

Senate bill entitled an Act prescribing the regula-
tions and conditions upon which the Board of Public
Works shall sell the State's interest in. all work of
internal improvement whether as a stockholder or a
creditor and also the State's interest in any banking
corporation of said Slate.
With the following proposed amendment::
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.,
After section 2, insert a new section to reacl as-
follows:
"Section 3. And be it further enacted, that this Act
shall not apply to the stock of the Washington Branch
of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company, now
held by the State of Maryland, and amounting to the
sum of five hundred and fifty thousand dollars."
Change section 3 to section 4, and section 4 to sec-
tion 5.

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend section 1 and
3, of an Act of the General Assembly of Maryland,
passed at the January Session, 1890, chapter 542, en-
titled an Act to change the name of the Trust, Deposit,
Loan, Security, Guaranty and Insurance Company of
Baltimore County to the Baltimore County Trust
Company, and to declare and enlarge the powers of
said corporation so that the corporate title of the said
corporation shall hereafter be the Maryland Deposit
and Trust Company, and that the principal office of
