Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Finance.

By Mr. Hubner,

Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Elec-
tric Light and Railway Company of Baltimore county.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.

By Mr. Gorter, the following bills :

Senate bill entitled an Act to give and grant the
sanction and consent of the General Assembly of Mary-
land to sundry sales, deeds and leases to or for the use
of sundry religions sects, orders or denominations
therein named.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial proceedings.

Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Patap-
sco Title Company of Baltimore city, Md.

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the use of
electricity on horse railways in Baltimore county.

Which was read the iirst time, and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.

On motion by Mr. Hayes.

Senate bill entitled an Act to add six new sections
to Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"City of Baltimore," sub-title "Liquors and Intoxi-
cating Drinks," to come in after section 653 T, of said
Article, and to be designated as 653 U, 658 V, 653 W,
653 X, 653 Y and 653 Z.

Was considered, and

Said bill was recommitted to the Select Committtee,

Mr. Hayes, from a Select Committee, to whom said
bill had been referred, reported favorably, with the
following proposed amendments :

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

1. Insert after the word "have," in the 14th line of
section 653 U, of the bill, the words following: art-
icle of incorporation or."

2. Strike out after the word "admitted," in the 17th
line of said section, all the words between it and the
word "and." in the 20th line thereof, and insert in
the place of the words so stricken out, the wards fol-
lowing: "in accordance with the constitution and by-
laws of the club.''
