AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

After the word "marked," in line 64, insert the
following :

"When a voter lias placed his cross mark (X) op-
posite the emblem or name of a political party, and a
mark is found opposite the name or names of any of
the groups of candidates beneath said emblem, then
the vote so cast ehajl be regarded as given for all the
candidates under said marked emblem or name of a
political party."
