House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 296, of
Article 73, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Corporations," sub-title "Process," and to re-enact
the same with amendments.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 16, of Article 54, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Land Office," re-
lating to the indexing of certain land records and ex-
tracts of deeds.

Which were severally read the first time, and re-
ferred to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

House bill entitled an Act t o authorize the Comp-
troller and Treasurer of the State of Maryland to
audit the claim of Oscar Paskell and others for moneys

erroneously paid to the State of Maryland.

House bill entitled an Act to provide for the im-
provements of the State House grounds.

House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay the claim of Eugene E. Graunan, agent
of the State of Maryland, appointed under authority
of law to serve a requisition upon the Governor of Ohio
in the case of the State of Maryland vs. John Yeakle.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Comp-
troller to issue his warrant upon the Treasurer to pay
to the Westminster Water Company 837.52, being
'State taxes erroneously paid the Treasurer of Carroll

county and by him paid into the Treasury of the

State of Maryland.

Which were severally read the second lime, and re-
ferred to the Committee on Finance.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments, sections 741, 742, 745, 746 and 747,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "City of Bal-
timore," sub-title "Police."

House bill entitled an Act to repeal, amend and re-
enact section 614, of Article 4, of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore " sub-title "Jus-
tices of the Peace and Constables," as amended by

chapter 230 of the Acts passed at the January Session
of 1890.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments, section 756, of Article 4, of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "City

of Baltimore," sub-title "Police."
