Mr. Seibert, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to amend, the charter of
the President, Managers and Company of the Boons-
borough Turnpike Road Company, passed at the De
cember Session, 1814, of the General Assembly of
Maryland, chapter 71.
Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
Mr. Hayes, from a Select Committee, reported the
following bills, with recommendation that said bills
be referred to the Committee on Judical Proceedings.
Senate bill entitled an Act to add to the Code of
Public Local Laws, Article 4, title "City of Balti-
more," sub-title "An additional .section authorizing
the institution of prosecutions for offences not punish-
able by death or imprison; ent in the Penitentiary by
Information," said section to be known as section
181 A, and to come in after section 181.
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 653 N,
of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"City of Baltimore," sub-title "Liquor and Intoxicat-
ing Drinks," and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.
Senate bill entitled an Act to add a new section
empowering the Boards of Liquor License Commis-
sioners of Baltimore city to summon witnesses, com-
pel their attendance and administer oaths, to Article
4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "City
of Baltimore," sub-title "Liquor and Intoxicating
Drinks," to come in after section 654 T, of said Arti-
cle, and to be designated as "Section 653 U."
Senate bill entitled an A.ct to add five new sections
to Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"City of Baltimore," sub-title "Liquor and Intoxicat-
ing Drinks," to follow section 653 V, and to be desig-
nated as "Sections 653 W, 653 X, 653 Y, 653 Z and
653 AA,"
Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Liquor and Intoxi-
