101 and 103, of Article 27, of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws of the State of Maryland, title "Fraud,"
sub-title "Fruit and Vegetable Packing."

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Wootton, from the said Committee on the
Sanitary Condition of the State, reported unfavorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend Article 100, of
the Code of Public General Laws, title "Work," by
adding a section to be known as section 4, regulating
the employment of minors in stores, factories, mills
and workshops in this State,

Which was considered, and

Mr. Evans moved to substitute the bill for the un-
favorable report.

Which was adopted, and

Said bill was then read the second time, and ordered
to be engrossed for a third reading.

And, unfavorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments sections 139 to 141, inclusive, of
Article 27, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Crimes and Punishments," sub-title "Health, Hours
of Labor of Children."

Which was considered, and
On motion by Gorter,

Said bill was substituted for the unfavorable report,
and made the Order of the Day for Thursday, March
24th, at 1 o'clock.

Mr. Bennett, from the Committee on Agriculture
and Labor, reported favorably.

House bill entitled an Act to protect associations
and unions of workingmen and persons in their labors,
trade-marks and form of advertising, and to punish,
offenders for violation of the same.
