Mr. Rogers, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 94, 95r
96, 97 and 98, of Article 14, of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Howard County," sub-title "Liquor
and Intoxicating Drinks," so far as the same applies
to that part of the Second Election District of Howard
county included within thg corporate limits of Ellicott
city, and to add new secti ns to said Article 14 of
the Code of Public Local Laws, to follow section 98,.
to be designated as sections 98 A, 98 B, 98 C, 98 Dv
98 E, 98 F and 98 G.

Which was read the second time, and ordered to b
engrossed for -a third reading.

Mr. Bennet, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably, the following bills :

House bijl entitled an Act to provide for the grad-
ing and paving of streets in the city of Westminster
and constructing sewers.

House bill entitled an Act to make valid the acts of
the directors of the Union Bridge Water Company, in;
Carroll county.

Which were read the second time.

Mr. Dawson, from a Select Committee, reported'
favorably, the following bills :

House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections A, B,
C, D, E, F, G, H and K, of Article 20, of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Somerset County," sub-title
"Oysters," as the same appears in chapter 269 of the
Acts of 1890.

With the following proposed amendments :
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Insert in line 6, section 1, between the words "the
and right," the words "exclusive,"

In line 7, section 1, at the end of said section, strike-
out the word "three" and substitute thereof the
word "four."

And after the word "four." as amended, at the end
of section 1, add the following:
