any Federal, State, county or municipal office of profit;
or trust within this State.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That all Acts or parts of
Acts inconsistent with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act
shall take effect from the date of its passage ; pro-
vided, that this Act shall not apply to the assessment
and collection of State, county and city taxes levied,
for the year 1892.

The rules were suspended so as to give said bill the
third reading this day, by yeas and nays, as follows.
