Section 1, in line 3, after the word "ninety," insert
"entitled an Act to enable the qualified voters of Gar-
rett county to determine by ballot whether spirit-
uous or fermented liquors or alcoholic bitters shall be
sold in said county."

Which were adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was read the second time,
and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Hepbron, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 71, of
Article 15, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Kent County," sub-title "Chestertown," and to re-
enact the same with amendments, so as to read as fol-
lows :

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Moss, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to change the name of
the Brooklyn and Curtis Bay Light and Water Com-
pany of Anne Arundel county, and to define and en-
large the powers of said company.

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Seibert, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably the following bills:

House bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of
the M. J. Grove Lime Company of Frederick county,
by authorizing the said company to purchase and
hold lands in this State and other States, Districts
and Territories of the United States.

House bill entitled an Act to add additional sections,
to Article 11, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Frederick County.," sub-title "Liquor and Intoxi-
cating Drinks," to follow section 311, and to be
known as "Sections 311 A to 311 H," inclusive.

Which were read the second time.
