INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.

By Mr. Getty,

Senate bill entitled an Act to prohibit the payment
of employees of certain corporations operating in Gar-
rett county, otherwise than in legal-tender money of
the United States.

Which was read the first time, and referred to
Messrs. Getty, Pearre and Brown.

By Mr. Waters, the following bills :

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
section 119, of Article 20, of the Public Local Laws,
title "Somerset County," sub-title "Fish."

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 108, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, Article 20, title "Som-
erset County," sun-title ''Fences," and to re-enact
the same with amendments,.

Which were read the first time, and referred to
Messrs. Waters, Toadvin and Smith.

By Mr. Rogers, the following bills :

Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article 27, of the Code of Public General
Laws, title "Crimes and Punishments," sub-title
"Railroad Obstructing," to follow section 231, and to
be known as "Section 231 A."

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Article 7, of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed
at the January Session.

Which were read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings

Whereas, The Maryland Branch of "The Society of
the Sons of the American Revolution," a regularly
incorporated Society under the Laws of the State of
Maryland is engaged in an effort to raise a large
amount of money to erect in Baltimore city a suitable
