642 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 10,

of the General Assembly of Maryland, chapter 2,
passed at January Session of 1882, entitled an Act to
provide for the redivision of the City of Baltimore,
and to provide for the redivision of the Seventh Ward
of Baltimore City into Election Precincts.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Baltimore City Senators.

By Mr. Moss, the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to change the name of
the Brooklyn and Curtis Bay Light and Water Com-
pany of Anne Arundel county, and to amend, define
and enlarge the powers of said company.

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Anne Arundel county to borrow
money on the credit of the county for the purpose of
repairing and remodeling the Court House, to issue
bonds for the payment of the same.

Which were read the first time, and referred to
Messrs. Moss, Seibert and Robinson.

By Mr. Wootton,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 7, of
Article 25, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Treasurer, " relating to the employment and salary of
Clerks in his office and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Finance.

By Mr. Hepbron,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 7, of
Article 19, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Comptroller, " and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Finance.

By Mr. Lloyd,

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and em-
power the County Commissioners of Talbot county
to issue bonds to the amount of $25, 000, bearing in-
terest at a rate not exceeding five per centum for the
purpose of raising a sum of money sufficient to pay
the county's subscription of $26, 000 to the capital
