ORDER OF THE DAY.

The hour of 1. 30 P. M. having arrived, the Presi-
dent announced the Order of the Day to be the con-
sideration of

House bill entitled an Act to add an additional
section to Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title "City of Baltimore, " sub-title "Licenses, " to be
known as "Section 664 A. "

Which was considered, and
On motion by Mr. Evans,

Said bill was ordered to lie over and be made the
Order of the Day for Friday, March 11, at 1 P. AJ.

BILLS AND RESOLUTIONS—THIRD READING.

Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to aid in the purchase of free books for the
public schools of the State of Maryland.

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and
nays, as follows:

House bill entitled an Act to confirm ordinance No.
23, approved April 8th, 1891, of the ordinances of the
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, entitled "an
ordinance to authorize the construction of City Pas-
senger Railway track by the North Avenue Railway
Company of Baltimore city.

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and
