By Mr. Robinson, the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act granting the sanction of
the General Assembly of Maryland to the bequest of
the late Joseph E. Robinson, to the Trustees of
Ebenezer Methodist Episcopal Church, in the 4th
Election District of Harford county, and to the
bequest of $100 to the Board of Foreign Missions of
the Methodist Episcopal Church of the Maryland Con-
ference.

Senate bill entitled an Act giving the sanction of the
General Assembly of Maryland to the bequest in the
will of John Watkins to the Harford Baptist Meeting
House or Burying Ground.

Senate bill entitled an Act giving the sanction of
the General Assembly of Maryland to the bequest in
the will of Sarah Varues to the Trustees of the Old
School Baptist Meeting House.

Which were read the first time, and referred to the
Committee. on Judicial Proceedings.

REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.

Mr. Wirt, from the Committee on Rules, reported
favorably.

The proposed amendment to Rule XVI, which was
referred to said Committee at yesterday's session.

Said report was read and adopted.

REPORTS OF SELECT COMMITTEES.

Mr. Pearre, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably, the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 249, of
Article 1, of Code of Public Local Laws, title "Alle-
gany County, " sub-title "Westernport. "

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
section 18, Article 1, of Code of Public Local Laws,
title "Allegany County, " sub-title "Birds and Game. "

Which were read the second time, and ordered to
be engrossed for a third reading.
