House bill entitled an Act requiring the Comp-
troller to issue his warrant upon the Treasurer for
sums withheld from Garrett county, owing to not hav-
ing been able to keep open the county schools seven
and one-half months in each year.

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and
nays, as follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Austin, Posey,
Dawson, Robinson,
Getty, Seibert,
Gorter, Waters,
Hayes, Wirt,
Moss, Wootton—14.

NEGATIVE—None.

Said bill was then returned to the House of Dele-
gates.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 1, 10,
20 and 23, of Article 2, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Anne Arundel County, " sub-title "Alms-
house. "

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and
nays, as follows, with proposed amendments:
