Association of Hagerstown, contained in the last will
and testament of Letitia P. Harvey, late of Washing-
ton county, deceased.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.

Mr. Wirt, from the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings, reported favorably the following bills:

House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 12, of Article 36, of the Code
of Public General Laws.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 230 and
231, of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title "City of Baltimore, " sub-title "Courts. "

Which were read the second time.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 198, of
the Acts of 1890, entitled an Act in relation to cruelty
to animals and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was considered.

Mr. Evans submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In line 6, section 3, strike out the words "shooting
matches. "

Which was rejected.

Mr. Evans submitted the folio wing amendment:
AMENDMENT. PROPOSED.

In line 5, section 3, strike out the word "pigeons. "
Which was rejected.

Mr. Toadvin submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

After the word "crows, " in line 5, add "hawks and
owls. "

Which was adopted.

Mr. Robinson submitted the following amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
After "hawks and owls, " add "bats. "
Which was rejected.
