Which was read the first time, and referred to
Messrs. Moss, Seibert and Newman.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 38, of Article 8y of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Cecil
County, " sub-title "Birds and Game. "

Which was read the first time, and referred to
Messrs. Wirt, Wootton and Hepbron.

A messenger appeared and delivered a communi-
cation from the Executive.

At 2. 40 P. M.,

The Senate went into Executive Session.

At 2. 45 P. M.,

The Senate resumed the consideration of Legislative
business, and

On motion by Mr. Wootton,

The Senate adjourned.

THURSDAY, March 3d, 1892.

Senate met at 12 M.

Prayer by the Rev. Mr. Andrew.

Present at roll call, the following Senators:

Messrs. President, Austin, Brown, Dawson, Evans,
Getty, Gorter, Hayes, Hepbron, Moss, Pearre, Posey,
Robinson, Rogers, Seibert, Smith, Waters, Wirt,
Wootton—19.

Proceedings of yesterday's session read and ap-
proved.

PETITIONS, MEMORIALS, &c.

Mr. Rogers presented the memorial of Christian.
Eckert, Samuel J. Radcliffe, Joshua W. Dorsey and
110 other citizens of Ellicott city, Howard county,
praying for a repeal of the local option law of 1882,
chapter 450, so far as the same relates to Ellicott city
Second Election District of Howard county.

Which was read, and referred to Messrs. Rogers,
Moss and Robinson.
