In the third line strike out the word "negotiable, "
and insert after the word "instruments, " in said line,
the words "or debts. "

Amend section 1 by striking out the words "or"
and "negotiable, " in the 7th line thereof, and in the
same line after the word "instruments, " insert the
words "or debts. "

Amend section 1 by striking out the word ' 'can-
celled, " in the 10th line thereof, and insert in the
place thereof the word "paid. "

Amend by striking out "section 2" of the bill.

Which were adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was read the second time,
and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

REPORTS OF SELECT COMMITTEES.

Mr. Robinson, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably the following bills:

House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town
of Aberdeen, Harford county.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Harford county to grant a pension
to Bridget O'Donnell, widow of Matthew O'Donnell,
of said county.

Which were read the second time.

Senate bill entitled an Act 10 repeal chapter 615, of
the Acts of 1890, entitled an Act to amend Article 13
of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Har-
ford County, " by adding additional sections thereto.

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Moss, from a Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Home
for the Aged of Frederick city.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Toadvin, from a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor
and Council of Salisbury, in Wicomico county, to
borrow money for the erection of a market house.
