House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 396,
397, 398, 399, 400, 401, 402, 403, 404, 405, 406, 407,
408, 409, 410, 411, 412 and 413, of Article 11, of the Code
of Public Local Laws, entitled "Frederick County, "
sub-title "Point of Rocks. "

Which was read the first time, and referred to
Messrs. Newman, Seibert and Robinson.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 230 and
231, of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title "City of Baltimore, " sub-title "Courts. "

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

At 10 P. M.

On motion by Mr. Toadvin,

The Senate adjourned.

WEDNESDAY, March 2d, 1892.

Senate met at 12 M.

Prayer by the Rev. Mr. Steele.

Present at roll-call, the following Senators:

Messrs. President, Austin, Brown, Evans, Getty,
Gorter, Hayes, Hepbron, Hubner, Moss, Pearre,
Robinson, Seibert, Smith, Toadvin, Waters, Wilkin-
son, Wirt, Wootton—19.

Proceedings of yesterday's session read and ap-
proved.

PETITIONS, MEMORIALS. &c.

The President presented the memorial of C. Shan-
nahan, and 36 other citizens of Talbot county, against
the repeal of the local option law and against licenses.

Also,

The memorial of Q. M. Taylor, M. P. Elliott, and.
59 other citizens of Talbot county, in favor of local
option and against license.

Which were read, and referred to the Committee on
Temperance.

ORDERS.

On motion by Mr. Moss, it was
Ordered, That Senators Bennett, Dawson, Coffin,
Newman, Posey and Rogers be excused from atten-
dance to-day.
