Also, the memorial of A. G. M. Moore, T. L. Way-
man and 38 other citizens of Talbott county, against
the repeal of the local law and against license.

Also, the memorial of S. L. Coghill, S. S. Thompson

and others in favor of local option and against license.

Which were read, and referred to Messrs. Lloyd,
Dawson and Brown,

Mr. Wirt presented the memorial of Joseph Tome
and 39 other citizens of Cecil county, praying the Leg-
islature to grant equitable relief to the sureties of

Stevenson Archer.

Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Finance.

Mr. Waters presented the memorial of 77 citizens
and taxpayers in Crisfield district of Somerset county,
protesting against the extension of the corporate
limits of the town of Crisfield, in said county.

Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Corporations.

ORDERS.

Mr. Evans submitted the following:

Ordered by the Senate, That the Public Printer
print and have bound in cloth, as a memorial volume,
for the use of the General Assembly, 200 copies of
the addresses, orders, messages and resolutions passed
by the Senate, relating to the death of the late Sena
tor, Joseph Frank Talbott. Upon the completion of
the same, the Public Printer shall deliver all the

copies to the State Librarian, who shall deliver one
copy of the same to each member of the General
Assembly, five copies to the family of the deceased
'Senator, and have bound one copy in the Public Doc-
uments of this session of the General Assembly, and
the remaining. copies shall be kept in said State
Library, subject to the orders of the Senate, The

cost of printing and binding said volume shall not ex-
ceed the sum of $75. 00.

Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Finance.

On motion by Mr, Seibert, it was
Ordered, That Senators Bennett, Coffin, Newman,
Toadvin, Rogers and Wilkinson, be excused from at-
tendance on to-day's session of the Senate.
