House bill entitled an Act to provide for an addi-
tional Justice of the Peace in the Eleventh District of
Baltimore county.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments, section 52, of Article 3, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Baltimore County, "
sub-title "County Treasurer. "

Which were read the second time.

Mr. Moss, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably, the following:

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments, sections 214 and 214 A, of Article
2, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Anne
Arundel County, " sub-title "Sheriff, " as said sections
appear in chapter 395 and 503, of the Acts of 1890,
and to add a new section thereto.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections from
171 to 176 inclusive, and 178 of Article 2, of the Code
of Public Local Laws, title ''Anne Arundel County, "
sab-title "Justices of the Peace, " and to re-enact said
sections with amendments, and to add new sections to
said Article 2, to be designated as "Sections 171 A,
171 B, 176 C, 176 B, 178 A, 178 B and 178 C. "

Which were read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third leading.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 1, and to repeal section 11,
of chapter 183, of the laws of Maryland, passed at the
Session of 1890, entitled an Act to create a treasurer
for Calvert county, and to provide for the collection
of taxes therein.

House bill entitled an Act to provide for the ap-
pointment of two additional police officers for the
town of Brooklyn, and South Baltimore, Anne Arun-
del county.

Which were read the second time.

Mr. Rogers, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably.

Senate bill entitled an Act to establish a free bridge
over the Patapsco river between Baltimore and Howard
counties, at a point near to Orange Grove, and to
authorize the Commissioners of Baltimore county to
levy a tax to the amount of $15, 000, and to authorize
