House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 337, of
Article 8, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Cecil County, " sub-title "State's Attorney, " and re-
enact the same with amendments.
Which was read the first time, and referred to
Messrs. Wirt. Hepbron and Wootton.
House bill entitled an Act to refund to Ross Comp-
ton, late Collector of Taxes for Garrett county, the
amount over paid by Mm into the Treasury of the
State of Maryland for the years 1888 and 1889.
Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Finance.
House bill entitled an Act to provide for the ap-
pointment of two additional police officers for the
town of Brooklyn and South Baltimore, Anne Arun-
del county.
Which was read the first time, and referred to
Messrs. Moss, Seibert and Newman.
House bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 476, of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of
1890, entitled an Act for the better protection of fish,
crabs, oysters and terrapins in the waters of Talbot
county, and to re-enact the same with amendments.
House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Talbot county to direct the Sheriff
of said county to employ all male persons physically
able to perform manual labor, who may be incarcerated
in the jail of said county.
House bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 618, of
the Acts of 1890, title "Justice of the Peace, " sub-title
"Criminal Jurisdiction, " so far as it applies to Talbot
county.
Which were read the first time, and referred to
Messrs. Lloyd, Brown and Dawson.
House bill entitled an Act to sanction the bequest
to the Reverend E. A. Eschbach, and to the Evan-
gelical Reformed Church of Frederick, by the name
of the Consistory of the Evangelical Reformed Church
of Frederick county, and the Consistory of the Evan-
gelical Reformed Church of Frederick city, contained
