Proceedings of yesterday's s session read and approved.

PETITIONS, MEMORIALS, &c.

The President presented the ninth annual report of
the Board of Managers of the Industrial Home for
Colored Girls.

Also, the eighteenth annual report of the Maryland
School for the Colored Blind and Deaf.

Which were read and referred to the Committee on
Finance.

Also the memorial of 83 citizens of Talbot county
against the repeal of the local fish law for said
county.

Which was read, and referred to Messrs. Lloyd,
Brown and Dawson.

Mr. Hepbron presented the memorial of J. Thomas
Pennington and 200 other citizens of Kent county,
praying for a change in the local law in reference to
Justice of the Peace of said county.

Also the memorial of Richard Hyson, Hope Barroll,
and 150 other citizens of Kent county, praying the
passage of an Act increasing the compensation of the
sheriff of said county for boarding prisoners.
