ORDERS.

On motion by Mr. Moss, it was
Ordered, That Senators Posey, Bennett, Evans and
Talbott, be excused from attendance to-day, on ac-
count of sickness.

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.

By Mr. Moss,

Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Annap-
olis, Eastport and Bay Ridge Electric Railway and
Power Company of Anne Arundel county,

Which was read the first time, and referred to Messrs.
Moss, Seibert and Newman.

By Mr. Getty, the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to pay to the School
Commissioners of Garrett county a sum of money out
of the State School Tax.

Which was read f he first time, and referred to the
Committee on Education.

Senate bill entitled an Act to change a portion of
the dividing line between the 3d and 12th Election
Districts of Garrett county.

Senate bill entitled an Act to re-enact section 42, of
Article 12, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Garrett County, " sub-title "County Seat. "

Which were read the first time, and referred to
Messrs. Getty, Pearre and Coffin.

By Mr. Gorter, the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act for the aid of St. John's
College.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Finance.

Senate bill entitled an Act to add a new section to
Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Baltimore City, " to follow section 212, and to be
designated as section 212 A

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Baltimore City Senators.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 32. of Article 93, of the Code
of Public General Laws, title "Testamentary Law, "
sub-title "Administration. "
