ORDERS.

On motion by Mr. Gorter, it was

Ordered, That Senators Bennett, Brown, Coffin,
Evans, Hubner, Posey, Robinson, Talbott and Toad-
vin be excused from attendance on to-day's session of
the Senate.

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.

By Mr. Waters,

Senate bill entitled an Act to enable George W.
Long, Collector of State and county taxes of Somerset
county, for the year 1888, to enforce the payment of
the taxes not heretofore collected by him.

Which was read the first time, and referred to
Messrs. Waters, Dawson and Austin

By Mr. Wirt,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 115,
116 and 117, of Article 8, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Cecil County, " sub-title "County Com-
missioners. "

Which was read the first time,, and referred to
Messrs. Wirt Wootton and Smith.

By Mr. Moss, the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to prohibit persons other
than land-owners bordering on said creek from fishing
with seine or net of any kind within the waters of
Little Magothy creek.

Senate bill entitled an Art to repeal and re-enact
with amendments sections one hundred and twenty-
five, and one hundred and twenty-six, of Article
twenty-seven, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Anne Arundel County, " sub-title "County Commis-
sioners. "

Which were read the first time, and referred to
Messrs. Moss, Newman and Rogers.

Senate bill entitled an Act to pay the claims of
James M. Munroe, late State's Attorney for Anne
Arundel county, for services rendered the State.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Finance.
