FRIDAY, February 12th, 1892.

Senate met at 12 M.

Prayer by Rev. Mr. Steele.

Present ac roll-call, the following Senators:

Messrs. President, Austin, Blown, Dawson, Getty,

Gorter, Hayes, Hepbron, Hubner, Moss, Newman,

Pearre, Posey, Robinson, Rogers, Seibert, Smith,

Toadvin, Waters, Wilkinson, Wirt, Wootton—22.

Proceedings of yesterday's session read and approved.

PETITIONS, MEMORIALS, &c.

The President presented the report of the Directors
of the Maryland School for the Blind.

Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Finance.

Mr. Wirt presented the memorial of Cecil Grange
No. 3, praying the General Assembly to pass a law
for the relief of the Maryland Agricultural College in
accordance with the suggestions of Governor Jack-
son's message.

Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Finance.

Mr. Dawson presented the memorial of citizens of
Caroline county, praying relief of the sureties of
Stevenson Archer.

Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Finance.

Mr. Hepbron presented the memorial of the Judges
of the Orphans' Court and County Commissioners of
Kent county, praying relief of the sureties of Steven-
son Archer.

Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Finance.

Also, by Mr, Hepbron,

The memorial of R. W. Jones and other citizens of
Kent county, praying relief of the sureties of Steven-
son Archer.

Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Finance.
