Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 1 and
2, of chapter 516, of the Laws of Maryland, passed by
the General Assembly of Maryland, at the December
Session of the year 1849, and to re-enact the same
with amendments, and to add additional sections
thereto, entitled "Sections 2 A, section 2 B, section
2 C and section 2 D.

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and
nays, as follows:

Senate Joint Resolution requesting and urging the
Senators and Representatives of the State of Mary-
land, in the Congress of the United States, to use their
best efforts to secure the passage of Senate bill No.
67, entitled a "Bill to transfer the Revenue Marine
Service from the Treasury Department of the United
States to the Naval Department. "
