STATE OF MARYLAND,

EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT,
Annapolis, Md., February 8th, 1892.
Gentlemen of tile Senate:

I have approved and signed the following Acts which
originated in the Senate:

Chapter 1. An Act to authorize the Board of Police
Commissioners for the City of Baltimore to increase
the pension of James M. Moore, a retired patrolman
of the police force of Baltimore city.

Chapter 2. An Act to authorize and direct the
County Commissioners of Montgomery county to
refund taxes paid in error to Sarah A. Ellicott.

Chapters. An Act to amend the charter of the
American Casualty Insurance and Security Company
of Baltimore city.

FRANK BROWN,

Governor.
At 8. 25 P. M.,

On motion by Mr. Wirt,
The Senate adjourned.

TUESDAY, February 9th, 1892.
Semite met at 12 M.
Prayer by Rev. Mr. Andrew.
Present at roll-call, the following Senators:

Evans, Getty, Gorier, Hayes, Hepbron, Hubner, Moss,
Newman, Pearre, Posey, Robinson, Rogers, Seibert,
Talbot, Toadvin, Waters, Wirt—22.
Proceedings of yesterday s session read and approved.

PETITIONS. MEMORIALS, &c.

The President presented the seventh biennial report
of the Maryland School for the Deaf and Dumb.

Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Finance.
