Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact

with amendments section 225, of Article 16, of the
Code of Public General Laws, and chapter 86 of the
Acts 1890.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section one, of Article forty five, of
the Code of Public General Laws, title "Husband and
Wife. "

Senate bill entitled an Act to entitle the sheriff to

charge and receive one dollar for every arrest on war-
rant and return in criminal cases, and one dollar and
fifty cents for serving and returning attachment for
contempt of court.

Which were read the first time, and referred to the

Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

By Mr. Hayes,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 3, of Article 30, Code of
Public General Laws, entitled "Deaf. Dumb and
Blind, Education of. "

Which was read the first time, and referred to the

Committee on Finance.

INTRODUCTION OF RESOLUTIONS.
Mr. Gorter presented the following Joint Resolu-
tion:

JOINT RESOLUTIONS.

Requesting and urging the Senators and Represen-
tatives of the State of Maryland, in the Congress of the
United States, to use their best efforts and endeavors
to secure the passage of Senate bill No. 67, entitled a
bill to transfer the Revenue Marine Service from the
Treasury Department of the United States to the
Naval Department, introduced in the Senate of the
United States at the beginning of this session by
Senator Gray, of Delaware.
