ORDER OF THE DAY.

The hour of 1 P. M. having arrived, the President
announced the Order of the Day to be the considera-
tion of

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of
the Maryland Insurance and Trust Company.

Was considered, and,
On motion by Mr. Hayes,

Was re-committed to the Committee on Corpora-
tions.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and
delivered the following message:

By THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

January 28th, 1892.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

We have received your message proposing the ap-
pointment of a Joint Committee, to consist of one on
the part of the House and one on the part of the
Senate, to procure the necessary charts from the office
of the U. S. Coast Survey, for the use of the Special
Committee which has been appointed to visit the Leg-
islature of Virginia and to confer with that body, and
concur therein.

We have appointed on the part of the House, Mr.
Sams.
