Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.

ORDER OF THE DAY.

The hour of 1 P. M. having arrived, the President
announced the Order of the Day to be the considera-
tion of

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments sections 139 to 141, inclusive, of
Article 27, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Crimes and Punishments, " sub title "Health, Hours
of Labor of Children. "

Mr. Smith moved to strike out the enacting clause
of said bill.

Mr. Pearre moved that said bill be recommitted to
the Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

Which was determined in the negative by yeas and
nays, as follows:
