gates.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Governor
to appoint a Justice of the Peace for the town of Hur-
lock, in Dorchester county.

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays,
as follows, with proposed amendments:

codification of the statute and common law, defining
